The proposed staff shall be responsible for providing technical support to set up the overall IT Infrastructure of the new headquarters network infrastructure implementation project and LCKRC computer room relocation project that include, but not limited to, the followings:

• Solicit the requirements of IT facilities of data centres according to the governments standards
• Solicit site preparation requirements of new headquarters network infrastructure and LCKRC computer room, such as trunking, cabling and power supply
• Participate in the overall IT infrastructure design including network and system/network management
• Provide IT support for the implementation of site preparation work and the development of IT infrastructure
• Participate in IT products and solutions sourcing and evaluation
• Liaise and coordinate with external parties, including Architectural Services Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and contractors, etc. for the implementation of site preparation work
• To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
• The proposed staff must have working experience in:
  
  • Implementation and support of LAN/WAN
  • Site preparation
• Allowed by the laws of HKSARG to have any forms of work in Hong Kong
• Good communication and skills, such as read and write Traditional Chinese and English, as well as communicate in fluent Cantonese and good English
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player
• Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
• Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required

  • 1 Year x CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products, Infrastructure, PC LAN Support, Wide Area Network, Coordination, Work experience with/in the Government and Site Preparation Experience
