The proposed staff shall provide technical support to project implementation and system maintenance. Job duties include but not limited to:

• Manage and oversee the overall project implementation progress;
• Coordinate with different stakeholders including end users, contractors and vendors to ensure the smooth running of projects;
• Prepare the requirement specifications for the related IT procurement for the project implementation;
• Monitor the performance of the contractor and ensure the performance meeting the planned schedule and user expectation;
• Perform quality control on the system design, application programs and related deliverables according to the government IT policies, standards, methodologies and best practices;
• Assist users in user acceptance testing, training and system deployment and rollout at correctional institutions if necessary;
• Coordinate with the contractors to support the security risk assessment and audit and privacy impact assessment conducted by third parties;
• Assist in system maintenance including collecting system logs from Smart Prison systems in different correctional facilities;
• Provide support services outside office hour as required; and
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• At least 3 years of working experience as a System Analyst
• Experience in supporting system implementation and maintenance;
• Knowledge in Windows servers and virtual server infrastructure;
• Experience in Python programming is an advantage;
• Familiar with Government regulations, policies, standards, guidelines, methodologies and requirements, such as Baseline IT Security Policy, IT Security Guidelines, System Development Life Cycle, System Maintenance Plan, and Stores and Procurement Regulations;
• Good communication skills, coordination skill and liaison skills;
• Good command of Chinese and English;
• Allowed by the laws of HKSARG to have any forms of work in Hong Kong;
• Well-developed problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills;
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player;
•  Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
• Undergoing integrity check by the government is required.
