To develop, implement and support East Asia Regional Electronic Navigational Charts Coordination Centre's (EA-RECC) Internet/Intranet web applications, database design and some GIS related applications including but not limited to:

• Systems design and developments of web applications built on JavaScript, PHP, HTML platforms
• Design and develop of data flow/control (upload and download) on web application
• Conduct program testing, system testing and developing systematic test cases to support user acceptance test
• Conduct quality assurance, verification and rectification of data in validation process and applications
• Prepare and maintain program documentation (e.g. data and function specifications, etc.) to support system enhancement and bug fixing
• Assist in preparing project reports and specifications
• Assist in migration of local web-hosting service to public cloud platform
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Transportation from Prince Edward and Mei Foo MTR stations would be provided

• Holder of a degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, or equivalent
• The degree shall be related to Geomatics Engineering, Geographic Information Science, Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Have at least 3 years post qualification information technology experience of which 2 year in the capacity of analyst/programmer
• At least 2 year experience in web programming
• Experience in Java and XML will be advantageous
• Knowledge of and experience in database design, Geographical Information System (GIS) and application development will be advantageous
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies on various cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, AliCloud, Google Cloud) will be advantageous
• Possess strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills
