Duties
- Helping on the implementation of SR, S17 and any other relevant policies and regulations
- Liaising with IT security professionals for information and intelligence exchange regarding latest ITS security issues and threats
- Evaluating and advising on data of various applications systems to ensure the compliance with Departmental Security Policy and standard
- Research of current IT Security trends and best practice like email, anti-malware technology, etc.
- Provide technical advice for Information Security related projects
- Assist the supervisor(s) to prepare training materials and user manuals related to IT Security
- Perform security operations such as malware infection follow-up, USB device control and monitoring
- To provide logistic support to procurement of IT equipment
- To provide logistic support to IT Security Unit
- To perform any ad hoc support in regard to IT Security event or incident
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
- At least 1 year of experience in IT Security administration, including planning, administration and logistics support
- At least 1 year relevant working experience in Information Security management is preferred
- Possess the IT Security certifications like CISSP / CISA is preferred
- Experience of system administration is preferred
- Experience in device control and data encryption solution is preferred
May be required to provide service outside office hours, 7x24 on-call production supports and work at remote offices scattered over the territory such as airport and control points - Knowledge in endpoint protection solutions is an advantage
- Have similar work experience in Government is an advantage
- Checking on qualification, experience and integrity for the candidate is required and the consent of the candidate will be obtained during the recruitment interview
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 Years x Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
- 1 Year x IT Security
