Duties

To provide technical advices to users on infrastructure requirements and design of the IT system to support the business requirements
To supervise the contractors / suppliers to design and implement the IT system
To lead a team of contract System Analyst / Analyst Programmer
To manage, plan, coordinate and monitor various IT related activities
To carry out quality control and quality assurance, and project management duties
To perform any works assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Manager
At least 8 years experience in various IT related activities (such as SA&D, development, implementation, user acceptance test (such as installation test, functional test, load test, resilience test), on-going support and maintenance, etc.) of IT projects, in particular infrastructure side
Experience in supervising a team of four members or more
Solid experience in conducting SA&D, implementation, project management, contractor management and reviewing technical system options on system architecture with combination of system platforms, network and interfaces to other systems
Experience in implementing enterprise grade server virtualisation, networking and storage platform
Experience in implementing large scale critical systems with 7x24, high availability and disaster recovery requirements
Experience in implementing security infrastructure and compliance activities such as security risk assessment and audit and Privacy Impact Assessment
Experience in performing quality control of IT services provided by vendor
Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
- Pattern matching engine
- Addressing tool
- Text analytics engine
- Real-time analytics engine
- Multi-model databases supporting multiple data models such as graph, key-value
- IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000
- Information Security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 Travelling within HKSARG, such as visiting user departments' offices at remote locations or other locations, may be required

- 5 Years x Infrastructure
- 3 Years x Server Virtualization Technology
- 2 Years x Disaster Recovery Planning, Project Management Professional (PMP), Experience in Managing Government Projects, IT Service/ Outsourcing Management
