Duties

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AI Governance Analyst  (Contract) to support our AI governance initiatives. This role involves following corporate governance guidelines to support businesses to review project risks. Furthermore, there will be managing administrative tasks, such as, drafting meeting minutes, consolidating materials, scheduling meetings, etc., ensuring compliance with AI governance policies, and assisting in the implementation and enhancement of AI governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will also contribute to risk and regulatory analysis to ensure responsible AI deployment across the organization.

  • Risk Analysis
    • Conduct risk assessments for AI use cases, including risks related to data, model output, infrastructure, usage context, and user impact.
    • Identify ethical, legal, and reputational risks associated with AI systems and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare regular reports on AI governance activities, compliance status, and risk findings.
    • Facilitate effective communication between AI governance teams and other departments.
  • Administrative Support
    • Schedule and coordinate AI governance meetings and cross-functional discussions.
    • Generate meeting minutes and consolidate materials for governance reviews and working groups.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to AI governance activities.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of AI governance policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Monitor adherence to governance policies and escalate discrepancies or compliance issues.
    • Support staff training on AI governance policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Gap Analysis
    • Analyze gaps between government regulations/guidelines (e.g., PCPD’s AI Model Personal Data Protection Framework, PDPO) and internal corporate policies.
    • Provide recommendations to align internal governance with evolving external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in AI governance, data governance, or compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience conducting AI model risk assessments.
    • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and best practices.
    • Understanding of Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and PCPD’s AI governance guidance.
