Duties
- Goal of the Project
- To provide non-Asset Management data solution and Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) Satellite endpoint changes for the shutdown of old legacy asset management system (RailASSURE).
- Primary Responsibilities
- The job-holder is required to design, develop and deliver courseware on Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) Training / Change Management Briefing to ensure the target staff are equipped with the requisite competency, attitude, knowledge and skills to meet the Corporation’s quality customer service, business needs and operational standards.
- Secondary Responsibilities
- Communicate with different IT teams to design and develop the training contents to ensure courses are responsive to the current and future needs of customers and ensure compliance with Corporation’s quality, safety and environmental requirements.
- Conduct classroom training and assessment as required to ensure that trainees are equipped with all necessary knowledge and skills and are competent to perform their job.
- Able to provide appropriate instructional techniques, skills, and knowledge are satisfactorily developed to meet the needs of the training programmes—delivered in an engaging manner without monotony.
- Ensure that the identified training needs are met through effective learning methods. Explore the possibility of using new / advanced training technologies to enhance training effectiveness from time to time.
- Able to interpret IT technical terminology and effectively translating it into layman’s terms to facilitate understanding among business users.
- Ensure training deliverables are meeting the IMS of OTD, including conducting both classroom and practical training quality assurances such as classroom checking and failure analysis, to ensure that any deviations from standards are monitored with reinforcement and improvement actions are taken as necessary.
- Take part in the new ITSD projects as appropriate.
- Implement the Safety Responsibility Statement in meeting the safety management requirement of the Department/BU.

Requirements
- Education
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
- Professional Qualifications:
- (Desirable)Preferable with certificate or diploma in training & development.
- Working Experiences
- Five years’ solid working experience in IT industry, and with at least three of which should be training related.
- Soft Skills:
- Making recommendation for, and effect changes in curriculum design, control and procedures of training programmes to reflect current operational practice, including the exploration, acquisition and adaptation of new systems, methodologies and technologies to improve training effectiveness.
- Languages:
- Fluency in English & Cantonese
- (Desirable)Fluency in Mandarin.
