Duties

The proposed staff shall take a leading role of facilitating the system implementation and the subsequent maintenance tasks. These include, but not limited to, the followings:
- Assist the project manager to manage and oversee the project implementation progress
- Coordinate with different stakeholders including end users, contractors and vendors to ensure the smooth running of projects
- Prepare the technical specifications for the related IT procurement for the project implementation
- Monitor the performance of the contractor and ensure the performance meeting the planned schedule and user expectation
- Perform quality control on the system design, application programs and related deliverables according to the government IT policies, standards, methodologies and best practices
- Assist users in user acceptance testing, training and system deployment and rollout at correctional institutions if necessary
- Coordinate with the contractors to support the security risk assessment and audit conducted by third
  parties
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a System Analyst
- Experience in supporting the implementation and support of outsourced IT implementation projects and system maintenance
- Experience in system implementation and support of web-based application systems
- Familiar with Government regulations, policies, standards, guidelines and methodologies, such as Baseline IT Security Policy, IT Security Guidelines, System Development Life Cycle, System Maintenance Plan, and Stores and Procurement Regulations
- Experience in providing administrative and technical support for systems hosting in Cloud Infrastructure Services is an advantage
- Experience in system implementation and support of inventory control, stock management or delivery tracking system is an advantage
- Good communication skills, coordination skills and liaison skills
- Good command of Chinese and English
- Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player
- Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
- Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 Years x IT Application Development and Management, PRINCE, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Coordination and IT Procurement
- 1 Year x Work experience with/in the Government and IT Service/ Outsourcing Management
