• Participate in the project "Upgrade of Integrated Law and Order Statistical System" and other minor enhancements for IT systems
  
• Participate in system development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including but not limited to feasibility study, user requirement collection, system analysis & design, system implementation, system testing (unit test, integration test, UAT, etc.), data conversion, system migration and deployment
  
• Monitor project schedule and quality of project deliverables
• Liaise with different parties (including users, vendors, computer operators) in user requirement
• Collection, system development and problem investigation for IT systems
  
• Produce/maintain system documentation
  
• Provide helpdesk and onsite IT support to end-users
  
• Provide technical advices for IT systems
  
• Assist in IT security risk assessment & audit
  
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors
  

Remark: Overtime work and on-call support outside office hours may be required

• Degree in computer subjects or related disciplines
  
• At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• Hands-on experience in web-based application development with Java programming
  
• Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition, web programming and HTML
  
• Experience in project management
  
• Exposure in government regulations, guidelines and procedures, such as Security Regulations (SR), Stores and Procurement Regulations (SPR), Baseline IT Security Policy (S17), IT Security Guidelines (G3) and SOA-QPS5 etc.
  
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  
• Good communication skills and customer service skills
  
• Independent, self-motivated and good sense of responsibility
  
• Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 5 years x IT Application Development and Management, JAVA Programming and J2EE Development
  • 4 years x Web Programming
  • 3 years x HTML5, JavaServer Faces (JSF), Structured Query Language and Client Service
    
  • 2 years x Work experience with/in the Government and Project Management
