Duties

Support for equipment setup and helpdesk support for the daily operations, including but not limited to the following:

  • To assist in setting up and testing equipment
  • To assist in equipment installation, relocation and preparation
  • To provide first line helpdesk service to end users and perform helpdesk activities and carry out on-site problem diagnosis according to the defined procedures/guidelines
  • To coordinate with contractors and in-house staff to support computer systems and infrastructure
  • To report progress regularly on tasks assigned
  • Other duties as may be required
  • Candidate(s) may be required to travel to C&SD's sub-offices to provide technical support
  • Candidate(s) are required to work on shift system (during 08:45-22:00)

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR
  • Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience as an IT Assistant
  • To have solid working experience in the following areas:
    • IT operational management
    • Mobile device
    • Microsoft Windows
    • Helpdesk call handling technique
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:
    • Experience in Website Administration
    • Experience in Customer Relations
  • Work experience in the Government
  • The job requires the following mandatory skills:
    • 2 years x Mobile / Wireless Communication, IT Operational Management, Windows 7/8/10, Wireless and Mobile and Helpdesk Call Handling Technique
