Duties

Implementation of Disbursement Information System for Maritime and Aviation Training Fund:
- To coordinate with related stakeholders
- To provide IT support and advice including necessary infrastructure design and application development, etc.
- To integrate security consideration throughout software development life cycle
- To assist in system analysis and design, system installation, configuration, Privacy Impact Assessment, Security Risk Assessment & Audit, testing and documentation, etc.
- To monitor the performance of contractors and keep track of the progress of system implementation
Other administration and operation tasks:
- to provide system administration, configuration, operation and support for TLB's systems and equipment, including network infrastructure, Active Directory and various applications and Government Office Automation facilities
- to setup of IT equipment at TLB offices, provision of helpdesk service and end-user support (including users at remote offices of TLB). If necessary, may provide support in non-office hours
- to carry out other project-related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 3 years of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
Good knowledge and experience development, implementation and support of web-based application system
Good experience in technical support on IT infrastructure and applications
Good knowledge on server administration, web application, relational database and x86 operating system
Knowledge on cloud, iAM Smart, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is a plus
Knowledge on government IT standards, procurement, inventory management procedures is a plus
Ability to work independently or with a team to meet project deadlines
A good team player with positive thinking, willing to learn and is flexible
Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
May be required to work outside normal office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as and when required
Mainly working at Admiralty, will occasionally work at remote offices at Wong Chuk Hang, Chek Lap Kok or other offices as and when required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 Years x IT Application Development and Management, Document Flow/Workflow Management System and Coordination
- 1 Year x Electronic Form, IT Security, Production Database Support, Work experience with/in the Government, Intensive Exposure in Written English and IT Service/ Outsourcing Management
