Duties
- To provide IT support for the site preparation works and implementation of IT Infrastructure for Trade Single Window (TSW) Phase 3;
- To support the contractors of TSW Phase 3 on infrastructure setup, including server platforms, network infrastructure, storage systems, backup and restore solution, and system management and monitoring solution, etc.
- To participate in different acceptance tests such as installation test, system acceptance test, user acceptance test, etc.
- To review project deliverables and monitor the performance of the contractors of TSW Phase 3
- To carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor
- The candidate may be required to work at irregular hours occasionally
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
- The candidate should possess:
- Solid knowledge and experience in site preparation in multiple data centres
- Solid knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure, such as SAN storages and server virtualisation, etc.
- Solid knowledge and experience in network infrastructure
- Solid knowledge and experience in backup and restore solution, and system management and monitoring solution
- Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
- Work experience with/in the Government
- Experience in Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS)
- The candidate should also:
- Have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills
- Be hard-working and self-motivated with positive attitude
- Service period can be extended subject to satisfactory performance of the staff
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 Years x System Backup Operation, Infrastructure, Networking, Network & System Management and Server Virtualisation Technology
- 2 Years x Site Preparation Experience
