Duties
- Provide on-going system administration, technical support and performance tuning for various Windows and Linux operating systems
- Perform installation and setup of various applications and tools on Linux
- Provide support on log ingestion and monitoring system
- Assure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors
- Perform routine health checking on various systems and applications
- Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
- Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support
- Perform any work assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Linux shell scripting
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Windows Server with Active Directory
- Solid working experience in Elasticsearch and Logstash is required
- Experience in using different SIEM tools, such as Splunk, is preferred
- Experience in Red Hat Satellite, backup solution, monitoring solution is preferred
- Experience in Python and Ansible is preferred
- Holder of Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified System Engineer (RHCE) is preferred
- Experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in working with/in the Government is preferred
- Good command in spoken and written English is required
- Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred
- Written test may be required
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 Years x Linux System Administration, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
- 1 Year x Microsoft Active Directory Administration
