Duties
- To assist in managing the design, development and delivery of the System V and evaluating the system performance by participating in User Acceptance Test (including preparing test cases and delivering test results); verifying the data conversion from version IV to version V; carrying out analysis on query flexibility and data accuracy; reviewing the compatibility, readiness and stability of the system; monitoring the system migration; testing the integration with the slots allocation and AAHK's data; and assessing Disaster Recovery Drill in accordance with the user requirements
- To assist in liaison with relevant parties including the service provider of the systm, delineating user requirements and appraising the vendor performance
- To assist in oversight on the system implementation, managing user account activities and provision of technical advice for users
- To assist in the maintenance of the system and follow up with relevant parties where necessary
- To assist in coordinating with the Statistics Office on matters relating to the system
- To develop analytic and statistical tools (e.g. Excel VBA and formula) to facilitate different types of flight schedules data analysis
- To assist in the provision of information and statistics; and generating reports using data from various sources for related air services matters
- To assist in maintaining computer databases on the approved tariffs and flights and record of documents submitted by airlines
- To perform any other duties as required by senior officers
Requirements
- High Diploma or above in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as a Programmer
- Working experience in airlines is preferable
- The posts are subject to renewal based on operational needs
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 1 Year x Office Automation
- 6 Months x Data Administration
