Duties

Plan for the Windows 10 upgrade for the OA PC platform (e.g. Upgrade strategy, Migration Plan, Resource Plan, System Design/ Configuration, etc)
Provide support to relevant procurement activities of the Windows 10 Upgrade project (e.g. Market Research, Product/ Solution Selection, Tender Specification Preparation, Tender Evaluation, etc)
Manage/ monitor relevant outsourcing IT services (PC Replacement/Deployment/Trade-in, etc) including Contract Administration, Vendor Management, etc.
Provide technical support/ consultancy to the service operation team related to the OA platform
Coordinate with support staff, users and vendors for operational matters and security management activities
Participate in problem management meeting and give advice on desktop security protection / desktop management support activities
Plan, implement and manage OA related project(s) of the service operation team
Ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents during non-office hours may be required
Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Degree in IT related subject
At least 1 years of experience in a supervisory role
With at least 5 years of proven and substantiated OA system support experience
With at least 5 years solid experience in supporting the PC platform running on Microsoft platform (MS Windows 7 / MS Windows 10), Internet applications, Lotus Notes Mail System (both Client-based and Web-based) and Confidential Mail System
With at least 5 year solid technical support experience in OA PC desktop management via desktop management software (e.g. Symantec Altiris, BMC Remedy or IBM Tivoli etc)
With at least 5 year solid technical support experience in desktop security protection via endpoint Security Protection product (e.g. Symantec Endpoint Protection, Trend Micro OfficeScan, etc)
Familiar with the Governement SPR proedures (e.g. Tender, SOA, DPA, etc) is preferred
Familiar with Microsoft products, Windows Server 2003/2008, Group Policy Management, Confidential Mail System and Lotus Notes Email System
Excellent communication, customer relationship and presentation skills
Good communication skills, mature, self-motivated and ability to work independently and under pressure
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
Have solid understanding of incident and problem management processes
Holder of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Lotus Specialist (CLS) R.8.5 or Certified Lotus Professional (CLP) R.8.5 or above or equivalent is preferred
