The Contract Systems Analyst is mainly deployed to perform any of the following duties:-

• To liaise with the user and management to collect user requirements, analyze user requirements and design technical solutions
  
• To take part in the phases of the whole system development life cycle
  
• To coach and monitor subordinates to accomplish the task being assigned
  
• To coordinate vendors on planning and implementing projects
  
• To conduct quality assurance and verification of deliverables
  
• To prepare and compile documentation (e.g. data and function specifications, etc.) to support system enhancement and bug fixing
  
• To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to application development

• The candidate must hold a degree awarded by a post-secondary institution in Hong Kong or an overseas university or a polytechnic in the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Australia, or a higher diploma in information technology from a Hong Kong or overseas tertiary education institute
  
• The degree shall be related to Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Engineering, Information Technology, Geo-informatics, Geomatics Engineering, Geographic Information Science, or equivalent
  
• Able to work independently, with a critical thinking mindset and good communication skills.
  
• At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 2 years x IT Application Development and Management, Client/Server Application Development, Geographic Information System, JavaScript Programming, .NET C#, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Structured Query Language, Web Programming, Coordination, Work experience with/in the Government and Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services
