Duties

Work as the system architect on Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) and troubleshooting issues across or within any sub-systems of CMMP
Review and improve the existing structure of CMMP sub-systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency as well as to meet user requirements
Maintain and support CMMP, particularly on infrastructure systems (including different hypervisors (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere), guest operating systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows Server)), email system, and directory system
Assure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors from the perspective of system architecture
Assist in IT project management and vendor management
Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
Provide liaison and coordination services with different stakeholders
Monitor and report system usage and healthiness
Promote and maintain server patch management practices
Provide liaison and support to Bureaux / Departments / Offices on the production setup, client rollout and issues resolution
Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
Working outside office hours and providing on-call production support
Perform any work assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience and minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Minimum of 4 years of working experience in system implementation and maintenance and support is required
Minimum of 4 years of in-depth, hands-on working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft SQL Server is required
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere is required
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in implementation, upgrade and support of Microsoft Windows Server is required
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) is required
Working experience in applying security hardening guidelines, performing patch management, and conducting vulnerability assessments on the virtualisation platforms and database servers is required
Working experience with/in HKSAR Government is preferred
Good command in spoken and written English is required
Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred
Criminal record checking is required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 4 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Infrastructure, Microsoft SQL Server, Production Database Support, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Structured Query Language, Server Virtualisation Technology, Windows Server 2008/2012 and Windows Server 2003
- 3 years x Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
