To handle various aspects on strategic technologies and key infrastructure components, including but not limited to ISO/IEC 10646, Interoperability Framework for e-Government, and Enterprise Architecture,
within the Government. The staff is mainly required to:

• Review and provide comments on the new versions of IRG Working Set issued by Ideographic Research Group (IRG)
  
• Review and renew animations and other promotion materials to advocate the ISO/IEC 10646 and the Hong Kong Supplementary Character Set (HKSCS) standards
  
• Liaise with different stakeholders, including but not limited to operating system vendors, other Bureaux and Departments, academia, etc., in promoting the HKSCS standards
  
• Support and coordinate the Chinese Language Interface Advisory Committee (CLIAC) meeting and the meetings of Working Group of the CLIAC to be held in 2024 and 2025
  
• Assist CLIAC to manage the HKSCS
  
• Maintain the Common Chinese Language Interface (CCLI) web site
  
• Maintain the e-submission web form of HKSCS in the Form Builder platform
  
• Support the work of enterprise architecture in HKSARG to enhance the IT portfolio management ability of Bureaux and Departments
  
• Conduct surveillance and research on technologies and industry development for technical and data standards to promote interoperability for e-Government
  
• Perform security assessment and audit exercises
  
• Provide support and advice regarding the above-mentioned areas to the senior management and government departments
  
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
  
• The candidate shall possess:
  
  • Knowledge of international IT standards, preferably in ISO/IEC 10646, Unicode, Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), etc.
    
  • Experience in creation of promotion material (both electronic and paper), and liaison with industry, academic sector as well as professional organisations
    
  • Good command of both English and Chinese presentation and writing skills
    
  • Knowledge on Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON and HTML5
