Being a team member in an in-house support team to:

• Provide technical support to the public works programme information system and other application systems
  
• Provide assistance to perform various regular activities of the public works programme information system
  
• Provide on-going maintenance support of existing web content management system and perform related programming
  
• Collect and consolidate user requirements and conduct web content updates
  
• Perform trouble-shooting and problem solving for public, thematic and intranet websites, and ensure the websites can be viewed properly in different browsers and devices
  
• Manage and perform website administration such as routine backup/recovery, housekeeping and security patching of the related web servers
  
• Work with contractors for delivering application fixes
  
• Perform testing on contractor&;#8217;s deliverables
  
• Assist users to conduct acceptance test
  
• Assist to maintain the system documents
  
• Provide technical support to end users
  
• Assist to conduct procurement of IT services for implementation and maintenance of websites
  
• Conduct other system support activities as requested
  
• Conduct any other IT related tasks as assigned
  
• Require to perform over-time work outside office hours or on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays occasionally

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 3 years of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
  
• Solid experience and knowledge in web hosting environment provided by DPO (i.e. Web Content Hosting)
  
• Good analytical and problem solving and communication skills
  
• Experience in using JBoss and developing J2EE applications are preferred
  
• Oracle Certified Java Programmer (OCJP), Oracle DBA certifications or equivalent are preferred
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 5 years x HTML5
    
  • 4 years x Oracle RDBMS and System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
  • 3 years x Electronic Form, Work experience with/in the Government and Knowledge in Gov't Procurement/Disposal Procedures
    
  • 2 years x JBoss Application Server and J2EE Development
