Duties

Work in SecOps team to provide support on the operations and maintenance work for the System, including patching on the operating system and software within the System
Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for the System
Support threat monitoring, event/incident response, security patching and other security operations for round-the-clock running systems
Identify, analyse and report vulnerabilities in the System, ensuring timely communication to relevant stakeholders for remediation
Develop and maintain a cybersecurity risk register, documenting risks, likelihood, impact and mitigation strategies to align with security guidelines
Support the AI-based log management system
Possess insight in assessing and evaluating threat models prior to system analysis and design
Perform any other duties (including publicity) assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in resolving complex technical issues in system infrastructure
Solid hands-on experience on setup, configuration and system tuning of computer virtualisation, Linux operating system, MySQL database, and network architecture
Solid experience on creating patching procedures, leading SecOps, and updating ISO documents
Solid experience on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
Solid hands-on experience in reviewing the risk registers to perform on-going risk monitoring
Hands-on experience in creating user-friendly dashboards and leveraging strong Search Processing Language (SPL) skills to analyse logs and generate reports
Hands-on experience in designing alerts for proactive monitoring, rapid incident detection and developing Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) workflows
Hands-on experience in conducting security reviews and risk assessments
Knowledge and experience in supporting digital identity system / IT application development involving mobile app on iOS and Android platforms is an advantage
Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Good command of English and writing skills
Able to communicate in Putonghua and Simplified Chinese in technical terms with contractors
Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 years x Infrastructure, Intrusion Prevention System, IT Security, Public Key Infrastructure, Security Risk Assessment and Audit and Security Incident Detection and Handling
