Duties

Provide regular system maintenance support for the cloud-based platform of the System to ensure optimal performance and uptime, including but not limited to server capacity planning, system healthiness monitoring, system patching / bug fix and system optimisation / tuning
Provide ongoing operational support for the cloud-based platform of the System, including but not limited to troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner
Manage and monitor cloud resources in both public and private cloud environments for the System to ensure efficient utilisation and cost-effectiveness
Ensure that all the cloud components of the System comply with relevant security standards and best practices
Monitor work performance and conduct quality assurance of works performed by outsourced contractors
Collaborate with various parties to support the integration and operation of the System
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
The candidate should possess:
- Sound knowledge and solid experience in system implementation, testing and maintenance
- Sound knowledge and solid experience in micro-services architecture and containerisation technologies including Kubernetes
- Solid hands-on experience in managing cloud resources in public cloud platforms, e.g. Tencent Cloud and Huawei Cloud, using relevant cloud management tools and services
- Solid hands-on experience in CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, Maven and SonarQube
- Solid hands-on experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Sound knowledge and solid experience in cloud security tools and technologies such as web application firewall (WAF), cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) and security information and event management (SIEM) system
- Solid hands-on experience in providing technical advice and support to different users and clients
The candidate preferably possesses:
- Solid hands-on experience in implementation of web application systems using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and/or Diversified Cloud Infrastructure (DCI) of Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS)
- Clear understanding of government security requirements, interoperability framework and other relevant IT & Security standards
- Solid experience in working in government IT projects
- Strong sense of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of Chinese and English writing skills
- Good command of Putonghua and English communication skills
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x Infrastructure, IT Security, Linux System Administration, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support and Server Virtualisation Technology
