Duties

Lead a team to manage the contractor for the infrastructural design and setup of the Digital Corporate Identity (CorpID) Platform to achieve high availability
Co-ordinate and interface with different government contractors and support teams for interconnection between the CorpID Platform and the IT systems of bureaux/departments and external parties
Co-ordinate with various testing parties to perform the system testing before the production rollout of the CorpID Platform
The CPM will be required at times to provide support after normal office hours for special events, fire-fighting and urgent deployment of services

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Manager
The candidate is required to have at least 5 years' solid working experience for the infrastructure setup
The candidate is required to have at least 4 years' experience for the infrastructure setup of large scale and public-facing systems to achieve active-active design, (i) which the systems had at least 150 virtual machines in production environments and at least 10,000 public users; and (ii) during which at least 2 years' experience serving as project manager role
The candidate is required to have at least 4 years' solid working experience of system setup on cloud platform with the use of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) such as Kubernetes
The candidate is required to have at least 4 years' solid working experience of using network and security protection services provided by cloud platform
The candidate is required to have at least 2 years' experience of vendor management on project implementation for infrastructure setup
Possess strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills as well as to take a leading role on troubleshooting in infrastructure setup
Experience of setting up the public-facing system using virtual waiting room and/or content delivery network are added advantages
Experience of contract management and/or coordination and/or quality assurance are preferred
To carry out other project related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 years x Infrastructure
- 4 years x Disaster Recovery Planning, Networking, Server Virtualisation Technology and Technical Architectural Support
- 2 years x Vendor Management
