Duties

Collaborate and liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and integration of the Security Operations Centre (SOC)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity in SOC
Plan and advise on SOC operations, maintaining project momentum and efficiency
Assist in engagement with potential vendors, evaluate and integrate innovative technologies into the SOC environment, and ensure system stability
Establishing clear communication channels with SOC stakeholders, resolve technical challenges, align deliverables with objectives, and drive actionable outcomes
Support the daily operation of the SOC including assisting with security audit, patching, and upgrade exercises
Research and assess innovative technologies for SOC feasibility
Support incident response, analysis, threat hunting and alert monitoring
Document SOC setup, configuration, and network deployment processes
Generate reports on project progress, technical issues, and resolution activities
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Possess solid, intensive, hands-on experience with servers and networks
Possess working experience in manage and optimising private cloud infrastructure (e.g., VMware, Incloud Rail, KVM)
Be familiar with cyber threat intelligence, security monitoring, and incident response
Possess experience with SIEM, ITSM, EDR, NDR, and log analysis of the above applications
Possess experience in development and operation of the Security Operations Centre
Good command of English and Chinese languages
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 4 years x IT Security, Linux System Administration, Networking, Security Incident Detection and Handling, Server Virtualisation Technology, Client Service, Work experience with/in the Government, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services, Experience in Managing Government Projects and Vendor Management
- 3 years x Endpoint Security Solutions, Information Security Management, IT Planning, Storage Area Network, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Helpdesk Call Handling Technique, Experience in Managing Government IT Standards, Moderate Exposure of Putonghua in Work, Moderate Exposure in Written English and IT Service Management
- 2 years x IT Application Development and Management, Data Administration, Experience in Datacentre Maintenance, Data/File Backup Technology, Document Flow/Workflow Management System, Network & System Management, Security Risk Assessment and Audit, Security Risk Assessment, IT Security Scanning Tools, Virtual Private Network and Experience in Managing Int'l Security Standards
