Duties

Working as the system architect on the enhancement project of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP)
Participate in analysis and design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of CMMP
Analyse user requirements, research, design and implement a wide range of applications
Design and provide technical guidance, standards and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance system workflow efficiency
Assure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors
Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
Conduct system testing and rollout support
Monitor and report system usage and healthiness
Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support
Perform any work assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 2 years of working experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in system analysis and design
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in application development and management of IT systems
Sound knowledge of architectural design and design principles is required.
Solid working experience in Linux-based operating systems and server virtualization is preferred.
Solid working experience in relational databases, e.g. MySQL, SQL Server, is required
Solid working experience in web services development, e.g. RESTful API design, Ajax, is required
Solid working experience in web-based applications using the latest technologies and frameworks, e.g. Vue.js, React.js, Spring, Django, Node.js, is required
Experience in micro-services architecture and containerisation technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, is preferred
Experience in non-relational databases, e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, is preferred
Experience in integrating applications with message brokers is preferred
Experience in email solutions and messaging solutions is preferred
Experience in application development on private cloud platforms is preferred
Knowledge and experience in working with/in the Government is preferred
Good command in spoken and written English is required
Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 6 Years x IT Application Development and Management
- 4 Years x Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
