To lead an IT Team (including 1 CSSA and 1 CSA) in supporting all the implementation/support tasks, including but not limited to below:

• To plan and manage ALL (new/existing) IT projects (currently with nos. 10+ projects) to meet the business objectives and IT developments
  
  • To assess and estimate the project resource requirements
  • To monitor project progress, handle project problems/issues, and prepare timely management updates
  • To ensure all project deliverables are delivered on schedule with quality, and are compliant to the standing policies and guidelines in the Government
• To oversee the service delivery, enhancement and maintenance of the existing IT systems
• To set up new disaster recovery site and new satellite laboratories
• To plan for implementation of Electronic Record Management System
• To perform other ad hoc IT tasks

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Manager
• The candidate should :
  
  • - have solid experience in managing multiple IT projects in pipelines which adopt the government's Practice Guide to IT project management
  • - with solid experience in system design and development project
  • - have knowledge of the standing Government policies, guidelines, standards and procedures
  • - have good communication and presentation skills and be able to serve as a liaison with end users, senior management, other government departments and contractors
  • - be able to work under pressure to complete multiple implementation projects under tight schedules
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 4 Years x IT Application Development and Management
  • 3 Years x Oracle RDBMS and Project Devp't Exp. in Specified Business Areas
  • 2 Years x IT Planning, J2EE Development, Microsoft SQL Server, Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE, Helpdesk Call Handling Technique, Work experience with/in the Government, Experience in Managing Government Projects and People Management
  • 1 Year x JavaScript Programming, .Net Development, IT Service/ Outsourcing Management, Project Management, IT Procurement and Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services
