The proposed staff shall take a leading role for providing support to the system implementation, deployment and rollout activities of the system and IT Infrastructure at Sheung Shui Region or other locations as required until the successful system rollout tentatively in the second half of 2023 and also the on-going system maintenance for the domains which have been put on production

• Job duties include but not limited to:
  
  • Perform quality control on the deliverables starting from the implementation stage
  • Perform quality assurance on the system architecture design, application programs and the related deliverables according to the government IT policies, standards, methodologies and best practices
  • Carry out testing, site deployment and system rollout activities at the correctional facilities / institutions including the activities as follows:
    
    • Attend on-site deployment meetings with users
    • Lead the on-site installation of hardware and software equipment
    • Facilitate the institution UAT (iUAT)
    • Review the system issues, system refinement and system improvement
    • Facilitate the compilation of system cut-over plan with liaison with business and front-line users
    • Standby during system rollout
  • Support the post-implementation activities after system rollout
    
    • Facilitate the resolving of system issues during system nursing stage
    • Ensure the smooth transition from system implementation to system maintenance stage
    • Perform the management of on-going system maintenance for the iCRMS domains which have already been on production use
    • Manage the program release, system performance and quality assurance on the production system
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
• At least 2 years of working experience as a System Analyst
• The proposed staff must have working experience in:-
  
  • Vendor management
  • Working experience in Government
  • System development IT standards and methodologies
• Good communication skills, customer service skills, coordination skills and liaison skills
• Good command of Chinese and English
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player
• Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
• Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 3 Years x IT Application Development and Management, Oracle RDBMS
  • 2 Years x Server Virtualisation Technology
  • 1 Year x IT Procurement
