A Contract Programmer will be deployed as Multi-media Production Assistant to support multi-media production and training systems. The main duties are:

• To provide development and maintenance of programs using web development tools and software, conduct testing and ensure compliance with standards and user requirements
• To provide technical support in the development and revamp of digital training materials, such as video shooting, photo shooting and creation of multi-media resources
• To provide technical advice and support to training units in organizing large training events, such as venue and equipment settings for photography, video productions, live broadcasts and webinars
• To provide post-production including photo and video editing, sound editing, subtitling and media conversion
• To provide support services and maintenance for an e-learning portal, including end-user webpage production, trouble shooting and help-desk function, statistical report compilation and documentation
• To provide technical and administrative support for trial runs and production runs of training management systems at training venues

• Diploma holder or above, majoring in Design, Graphics, Creative Media, Computer Science, information technology or relevant disciplines are preferred, or equivalent; at least two years' relevant post-qualification information technology experience, of which at least one year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; and solid work experience in video production is a definite advantage
• Knowledge and experience in system support or development using programming languages and various support or development tools such as HTML5 and operating systems such as Windows and macOS 
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud suite (in particular Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere)
• Experience in e-learning design and development, graphic design and video production would be preferable
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player with good communication skills in Chinese and English
• Creative and innovative with aesthetic sense
• Knowledge and experience in video streaming and broadcasting, video shooting with mirrorless digital camera and other photography, web design and video software (in particular Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, iMovie and Final Cut Pro) will be an advantage
• Working experience in Government bureaux/departments is preferred
