The position is required to perform development, implementation and maintenance of various applications including geographical information systems (GIS) and related business process, especially those related to town planning and map applications as well as Esri GIS products. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

• Business modelling, system analysis and design
• System architecture design and system integration
• Application system development and maintenance
• Evaluation, testing and installation of solutions
• End user/Ad-hoc support
• Project, vendor and contractor monitoring

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years in IT experience including application development, quality assurance, system maintenance, system testing, user support and documentation
• At least 1 year hands-on experience in implementation and maintenance support of using .NET C# and JavaScript
• Proven technical skills and solid system development experience in using various application programming languages, application development frameworks (e.g. JavaScript, .Net, Java) and integrated development environments
• Hands-on experience in implementation and maintenance support of using Esri GIS systems related to map applications (e.g. ArcGIS SDE, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Desktop) is preferred
• Solid experience in client-server web application development and system integration with databases, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese handling
• Good IT professional knowledge and ethics; good supervising and team-leading skills; initiative, proactive, systematic and independent at work; customer and quality focus; good problem analysis skills; good communication and interpersonal skills; and good command in Chinese and English (verbal and written)
