Duties
- Manage an AI project independently throughout the project life cycle, including but not limited to closely monitoring the work progress and ensuring the smooth and timely implementation of the project based on the agreed project plan, ensuring the quality outputs of the project deliverables provided by the contractor(s), ensuring the timely payments of training expenses, deploying the AI training programme, etc.
- Plan and organise training and development activities/ events, including face-to-face and online training
- Provide professional technical advice and support to assist Government bureaux/ departments (B/Ds) in the adoption of Innovation and Technology (I&T) in various subject areas, including but not limited to AI, big data, robotic technologies, digital government, smart cities, etc.
- Give presentations with fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English during project delivery
- Provide project management support for the programmes under Training Section and the Smart Lab
- Oversee and conduct evaluation of I&T solutions/ AI products, produce reports/ summaries/ project documents
- Manage the security risk assessment and audit exercise for IT systems
- Oversee and support large-scale events e.g. IT or AI programme exhibitions and promotional activities
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Manager
- Strong professional knowledge and good track records in managing large-scale projects, particularly the projects of Government departments (DPO preferrable) or public organisations, and monitoring performance of contractors, website and web course development, management of outsourced projects
- Strong professional knowledge of emerging and innovative technology, including but not limited to AI and big data
- Rich experience in overseeing and conducting evaluation of I&T solutions, producing reports/ summaries/ project documents, etc.
- Rich experience in planning and organising training and development activities/ events
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Excellent writing skills in both English & Chinese, and speak fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 years x Event Management and Vendor Management
- 4 years x System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, IT Advisory & Promotion, eg.Exhibition,Publication, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services and IT Service Management
- 2 years x Knowledge Management Technology
- 1.5 years x Experience in Managing Government Projects
- 5 years x Event Management and Vendor Management
