The proposed staff shall be responsible for performing the IT infrastructure and server farm upgrade, restructure and maintenance, and IT security implementation for the project of iCRMS and IT Infrastructure. The tasks include, but not limited to, the followings:

• Support the setup of new IT Infrastructure and server farm, together with its integration of the existing network infrastructure in compliance with the governments IT security policy and standards
  
• Perform VM farm upgrades, migrations, backup/restore and expansions with minimal service disruption
  
• Monitor healthiness, resources utilization and security metrics of IT infrastructure to capture any alerts in timely manner
  
• Perform maintenance tasks of VM farms including apply of security, software update, etc.
• Provide IT advice in respect of information technology standards, compliance to government IT security policy and best practices
  
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
  
• The proposed staff must have working experience in:
  
  • High availability network infrastructure design and implementation;
    
  • Server farm, system and network management, event management, hands-on and professional competency on VMware and vCenter is a must
    
  • Site preparation;
    
• Good communication skills
  
• Good command of Chinese and English
  
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player
  
• Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
  
• Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 2 years x Infrastructure, Network & System Management, Server Virtualisation Technology, Windows Server 2008/2012 and Wide Area Network
    
  • 1 year x Anti-Virus Technology, System Backup Operation, Data/File Backup Technology, Network Design, Video Conference Technology, Virtual LAN/LAN Switching, Wireless/mobile Email solution, Event Management, Shift work and Site Preparation Experience
