Duties

To take lead and manage in the design, development, enhancement and testing of data handling application and user friendly web-based applications, including the data analytic application, data visualization application, web application, mobile application, the dashboard for Regional Digitalization Control System (RDCC), the data and document management system, the data management platform, the system interface with integrated building management system (iBMS) and the standardization, cleansing and preparation of operation data, for HSD in a professional, efficient and effective manner while adopting appropriate industrial best practice
To coordinate project work with key stakeholders from different business units to define/refine user requirements, project scope and objectives
To plan and control all phases of RDCC projects including system analysis and design, procurement and installation of computer systems, programming, implementation, system nursing and maintenance
To take lead in the study and planning for streamlining the data flow and data management protocol to ensure high data quality
To manage the standard and protocol for data collection and preparation of the RDCC to meet the current and future data analytic needs
To responsible for the development of extract, transform, and lead (ETL) processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional design of the table structure
To monitor the performance of his subordinates
To ensure project deliverables to be completed timely and meeting appropriate quality standard
To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Degree in computer subjects or related disciplines
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a System Analyst
Four or more years' experience in application development or related fields, with project management or technical consultancy and supervising a team of two (2) members or more
Strong understanding in project management, feasibility or technical studies, system analysis and design, application programming, operation management, system programming and specialized technical support
Strong knowledge on data handling, data architecture, data management, data analytics, Business Intelligence tools, applications and development
Strong and practical knowledge as well as solid experience in application system and database design and implementation
Good knowledge of web programming standards (Java, .net SQL, CSS, XML/JSON, JavaScript, etc.)
Good knowledge of system architecture and infrastructure design
Good writing, communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
Being creative, having strong analytical capability, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized
Strong interpersonal relationship and emotional management
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 Years x IT Application Development and Management, Data Architecture and Data Management
- 2 Years x Project Management and Issue Tracking System
- 1 Year x business intelligence/data mining
