Duties

Electrical and Mechanical Services Trading Fund (EMSTF) is now using a Corporate Computer System (CCS, which is an SAP ECC 6.0 Enterprise Resource Planning software) as the company ERP solution to handle highly integrated business functions, including Finance Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO), Plant Maintenance (PM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM) , Inventory Management (IM) , Project System (PS) and Human Capital Managements (HCM) for more than 2000 users.
There is a system known as "Departmental Operation Support System" (i.e. DOSS), which is implemented using SAP Fiori, in EMSTF for accessing the SAP ECC using web interface. Besides, Artificial Intelligence (i.e. AI) tools and functions would be setup in the CCS and DOSS environments.
Collaboration and liaison with other IT development teams and contractors are required to facilitate the system integration process between CCS, DOSS, and AI functions with peripheral systems, such as CCeP
To assist in system analysis & design (SA&D) and System Implementation and Integration (SI&I) , documentation, testing and support on functions (incl. SAP and AI tools) in CCS and DOSS. This inclues the provision of application support and perform testing on LLM API Gateway Endpoint connection and data transfer, SAP Fiori applications in various HTML5 web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Mircosoft Edge, Safari)
To assist in system analysis & design (SA&D) and System Implementation and Integration (SI&I) , carry out implementation, documentation, report generation, testing and maintenance in Fiori and CCS
To carry out implementation and provide support on the Interfaces development tasks using Restful API
To perform programming by SAP ABAP language, system sizing and performance tuning, system administration and maintenance
Provide technical support services such as liaison with users and contractors, system monitoring, conduct training, and provide support to colleagues
To ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard
To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor
The successful candidate may be required to work on irregular hours including Saturdays, Sundays and General Holidays.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related IT disciplines.
have at least five (5) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which four (4) years must be in a similar post and associated with SAP Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system.
Solid experience in implementation, administration or support on SAP ERP system covering Material Management/Sourcing and Procurement, and Order Fulfillment. Experience on SAP modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, IM, PM, PS, HCM and BW modules is a plus.
Hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (e.g. ALV reports, Excel export, User-exist, Enhancement, SAPscript, Smarforms, eCATT conversion, interface programs).
Solid experience in SAP Open Data Protocal (OData), API design implementation experiences with Netweaver Gateway, and SAP Fiori applications.
Experience and Knowledge in ABAP RESTful Application Programming and Postman is a plus.
Exposure to .NET programing C# is a plus.
Exposure and Experience in using various AI tools (such as various AI Assistants and AI for Training Video Editing), and Large Language Module (LLM) (such as DeepSeek v4 Flash, Qwen3.6-35B equivalent or above) is a plus.
Experience in preparing various levels of test plans, test cases, test scripts after SAP application development, and be able to perform the tests independently to output results in good quality.
Experience in Data Exchange of using RFC, O Data, BAPI, JSON, XML is a plus.
Experience in using Client URL (cURL), to test API and transfer data between client/server via HTTPS.
Good knowledge and experience in system design and database design.
Good communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese.
Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work.
Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized.
Good team player, interpersonal relationship and emotion management.
Experience in SAP transport and deployment procedures, source code version control, or issues management is a plus.
to have working experience in Government Department/Bureaux.
