- Job Description:
- To assist in the implementation, continuous operational support, and ongoing maintenance of the enterprise Common AI Resources Management platform and Common AI Services Provision platform;
- To assist in technical reviews to new project initiatives / enhancement items and Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoptions;
- To draft technical specifications, work assignment briefs and project-related documents for AI infrastructures, software solutions and tools;
- To perform preliminary checks on the system design and architectural solutions with the relevant frameworks, standards, policies and guidelines as set out for the government IT projects;
- To perform system administration, maintenance and support to support high performance AI modelling & analytics demands;
- To develop and enhance application programs and common foundation services with quality assurance;
- To assist in monitoring project progress and tracking contractor & sub-contractor deliverables;
- To prepare presentations/demonstration internal teams and end users;
- To assist in maintaining and updating the departmental Enterprise Architecture framework; and
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of IT working experience with at least 3 years of experience in an Analyst Programmer related role;
- At least 3 years experience working with or within Government IT environments;
- At least 2 years solid, hands-on experience in end-to-end IT application development, coding, testing, deployment, and crucial post-launch system support and maintenance;
- Strong proficiency and extensive hands-on coding experience in Java and/or Python programming languages are essential;
- Experience in developing, integrating, or supporting backend APIs, solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols is essential;
- Technical experience deploying applications on Linux-based operating systems and working with containerization (e.g., Container/Docker) and Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration, and basic network configurations (such as reverse proxies/proxy servers) is a definite advantage;
- Developing and integrating Artificial Intelligence applications, specifically working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and inference engines is highly preferred;
- Experience developing agentic workflows and low-code RAG pipelines using platforms such as Dify and n8n is an added advantage;
- Experience in supporting AI Resources Management tools and AI Common Services Provision platforms is an advantage;
- Strong team player, capable of writing clean code and troubleshooting technical issues under pressure independently and proactively;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 years x IT Application Development and Management, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Structured Query Language, Web Programming, Work experience with/in the Government
- 1 year x HTML5, SSADM
