The required staff is to take up support responsibility on the implementation of the Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA) and other tasks to promote Hong Kong ICT industry, which typically include:

• To perform technical information research and related preparations in support of strategy planning on all HKICTA activities
  
• To implement quality vetting procedures and processes of all HKICTA activities
  
• To assist in managing contractors in provision of their services
  
• To advise and support Steering Committee and its sub-committee in all HKICTA related matters
  
• To collaborate with Leading Organisers in the delivery of HKICTA services
  
• To assist in reviewing descriptions of winning entries to be published
  
• To perform other duties as requested by supervisor

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• The candidate must have at least 4 years working experience in the ICT field, and is expected to possess rich working experience in project and ICT industry event support, liaison and coordination. General understanding of the latest technical solutions in Business Environments, Security, Digital Entertainment, FinTech, as well as provisions of Smart City initiatives is a must
  
• The candidate is expected to have experience in supporting events which are preferred to be held in major international convention venues in Hong Kong (e.g. in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre or of similar scale), and experience working in collaboration with the Government
  
• The candidate must have good command of both English and Chinese, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 4 years x Event Management
    
  • 2 years x Internet/ Intranet, Intensive Exposure in Written English and People Management
    
  • 1 year x Chinese Processing, Multimedia, Windows 7/8/10 and Work experience with/in the Government
    
  • 6 months x Moderate Exposure of Putonghua in Work
