The job duties requirements of the service are as follows:-

• To be responsible for the new District Court at new Caroline Hill Road and Kai Tak Hospital network implementation project
  
• To monitoring healthiness of the network equipment and network traffic
  
• To maintain and update the network related documentation to reflect the latest production network architecture
  
• To coordinate and collaborate with contractors, users, application teams and various support teams for the implementation of network related task and on-site services
  
• To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident
  
• To prepare the requirement specifications for networking hardware and software, network implementation services, cabling services and maintenance renewal
  
• To participate in tender evaluation of networking hardware and software, network implementation services, cabling services and maintenance renewal
  
• To participate in IT Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) and Thematic Inspection exercises related to departmental network
  
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• Solid knowledge and good technical skill for server load balancers, proxy server, equipment of Cisco, H3C, Huawei, Fortigate and Solarwinds
  
• Hand-on experience in Cisco/Huawei router and switches configuration and technical support
  
• Experience in preparing requirement specifications for IT procurement / tendering
  
• Holding Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE), or equivalent networking certification is an advantage
  
• Allowed by the laws of HKSARG to have any forms of work in Hong Kong
  
• Good communication and skills, such as read and write Traditional Chinese and English, as well as communicate in fluent Cantonese and good English
  
• Overtime and on-call work is required when necessary
  
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player
  
• Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
  
• Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 2 years x CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products, Huawei VRP & Huawei Products, Internet Firewall Technical Support, Network Design, Router Configuration, Virtual Private Network, Wide Area Network, Work experience with/in the Government, Knowledge in Gov't Procurement/Disposal Procedures, Experience in Government Tendering Procedures, IT Procurement and Vendor Management
