Duties

IT application development, implementation, and maintenance
Conduct requirement analysis and system design for the IT applications;
Acting as a hands-on full-stack developer for both backend and frontend components;
Designing, developing, and enhancing web applications;
Building and maintaining scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs;
Writing clean, maintainable, and production-ready code with minimal supervision;
Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising existing systems for performance and reliability;
Participating in IT security risk assessment & audit (e.g. PIA, SRAA, Red Team Assessments), resolving follow-up issues and providing evidence, configuration changes, and technical justification;
Handling ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Solid hands-on experience in database technologies (Oracle, MSSQL), backend development technologies (JavaServer Pages (JSP), JavaServer Faces (JSF) and Spring Boot) and frontend development technologies (jQuery, Angular)
Solid hands-on experience in application design, implementation and development in the recent 5 years is required
Solid working experience in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, k6)
Solid hands-on experience in performing comprehensive testing, e.g. Unit Test, API & Integration Tests, Regression Test, Functional Test, Load Test, Stress Test, User Acceptance Test, Penetration Test, SQL Injection Test, Resilience Test, Disaster Recovery Test
Solid knowledge of CORS, CSP headers, and JWT token handling in the Web Security Domain
At least 3 years of solid working experience in the implementation and maintenance of Internet-facing applications are required
Knowledge in AI native application preferred
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English, preference given to those good at both
Well-organised, analytical, open-minded and self-initiated.
Good team player and problem solver.
Experience in Government projects and familiar with Government standards preferred.
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x IT Application Development and Management, JAVA Programming, Web Programming
- 2 years x Oracle RDBMS
