Duties
- Provide ongoing support for the Company's network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, management, and monitoring of various network devices and services
- Assist in the procurement, monitoring, and management of outsourced contractors involved in network support and implementation
- Offer technical advice to supervisors and management on matters related to the Company's network, including infrastructure improvements and best practices
- Monitor network performance, identify issues proactively, and implement necessary measures to maintain optimal network functionality
- Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and expansions, ensuring they align with business requirements
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology to provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Perform support tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
- At least 4 years of proven working experience in the implementation or ongoing support of physical networks, Local Area Networks (LANs), and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
- Hands-on experience in providing technical support for network devices and services, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting
- At least 2 years work experience in CISCO or Huawei products, router configuration, TCP/IP, VPN & WAN etc
- Certification in CCNP will be an advantage
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
- Experience in managing and collaborating with outsourced contractors for network support and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve network-related issues effectively
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to provide technical advice and support to supervisors and management
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
