Duties

Systems Information and Network Infrastructure Security
The staff member is required to plan, implement and manage the projects relating to information security enhancement with major duties including but not limited to the following:
- To plan and implement new IT security initiatives, enhancement measures, and network infrastructure security solutions;
- To manage and support IT security activities, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA), and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA);
- To review and update IT security documentation, policies, and guidelines;
- To liaise with internal staff and IT contractors for outsourced implementation services;
- To perform system/software upgrades, security patch management, and routine infrastructure support;
- To work overtime, including irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays when necessary;
- To perform duties primarily at the Yau Ma Tei office, with duties across offices in Yau Ma Tei and Cheung Sha Wan as needed; and
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
Active professional certifications, such as ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly preferred. B. Work Experience and Skills:
At least four (4) years' post-qualification IT experience, including at least one (1) year in a similar post and comparable capacity, and preferably at least two (2) years' experience working with the Government;
At least two (2) years' solid experience and proven proficiency in Information Security Management, Network/Application Security, IT Security Compliance and Linux System Administration; experience in Server Virtualization or Infrastructure Management is preferred;
At least two (2) years' solid experience in conducting IT security exercises (such as Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Vulnerability Scanning, and Penetration Testing) to ensure compliance with Government IT security policies and regulations;
At least two (2) years' experience in managing IT contractors, monitoring on-site project implementation progress, and validating Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance;
Hands-on experience in managing system hardening or cybersecurity solutions is an advantage, including Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Privileged Account Management (PAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Network Detection and Response (NDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM);
Knowledge or understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM);
A good team player and problem solver with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; and
Flexibility to work overtime, irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays, and perform duties across offices in Yau Ma Tei and Cheung Sha Wan as required.
