Duties
- To assist in managing the contract and monitoring the operation of the Recycling Stores and Recycling Stations;
- To lead an inspection team to conduct site inspections to the Recycling Stores and Recycling Stations, and their related events/activities for compliance check;
- To handle public enquiries concerning community recycling network and prepare statistical analysis;
- To assist in preparing and managing the contracts of facilities enhancement for community recycling network;
- To review and update papers, information notes, guidelines, presentation decks and other necessary materials in relation to the community recycling network; and
- To perform any other duties assigned as appropriate
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering subject, or equivalent;
- Preference will be given to candidates with full-time post-graduate working experience in waste reduction, waste recovery/recycling, waste facilities management, environmental education or related environmental domains
- Met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 (see Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent [Note: “Grade C" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3" in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth]; OR met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE, or equivalent
- Good English and Chinese writing skills, fluency in spoken English and
- Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
