Duties
- Provide ongoing system administration, technical support and performance tuning for monitoring systems in the CMMP Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Install and configure applications and tools on Windows and Linux platforms
- Provide support for SIEM, including log ingestion, use case development and threat intelligence integration
- Support network and system monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG)
- Assure and control the quality of project deliverables produced by contractors and vendors
- Perform routine health checks on systems and applications
- Provide daily administrative support and prepare deliverables that meet internal project standards and requirements
- Be self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, capable of multitasking and energetic
- Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in Linux administration and Linux shell scripting
- Minimum of 2 years solid working experience supporting Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
- Solid experience using SIEM tools (e.g., Elastic SIEM) with threat intelligence integration is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year working experience using and supporting network monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG)
- Experience with backup solutions is preferred
- Experience with Python is preferred
- Experience in security risk assessment and audit is preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with or within the Government is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English is required
- Good command of spoken Mandarin is preferred
- Valid Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is required
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Linux System Administration, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
