Duties

Design, develop, and test small-to-medium scaled Large Language Model (LLM), Machine Learning (ML) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) related systems to meet business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing systems and applications
Design and implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy
Develop and maintain documentation for the system and integration processes
Support ongoing development and testing of AI models to ensure seamless integration into the developed systems
Evaluate and optimize user experience for effective presentation and operation of the system functions including, but not limited to, dashboards, forms, workflows, and tabulated data
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data storage and retrieval systems that support AI model training and testing processes
Assist and on-job training of procuring process for equipment and services required
Communicate and present the system developed for effective team communication
Embrace the chance to stay up-to-date and on-job training of emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Collaborate and manage vendors and/or contractors for out-source development of innovative applications

Requirements

Degree or higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines
At least 3 years or above hands-on experience in IT application development of which 1 years must be in similar post as an Analyst Programmer and in comparable capacity
Adequate experience in programming language such as Python / JavaScript and database system such as Relational database / NoSQL database / Vector database
Adequate knowledge and experience in application systems using container deployment, such as Docker
Adequate knowledge and experience in application development and data integration systems
Adequate knowledge in Linux and database administration
Adequate understanding in machine learning applications and development
Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized
Good knowledge and experience in system design and database design
Good communication skills in English and Cantonese
Good interpersonal relationship and emotion management
Experience in web application deployment procedures, source code version control, issues management is a plus
Satisfactory result in the written test on the interview day (if necessary).
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 years x Client/Server Application Development, Object-oriented Analysis and Design, Project Management
- 1 year x Infrastructure and Linux System Administration, Structured Query Language
