Duties

  • Providing first-line IT helpdesk services to users
  • Installing hardware, software and security patches/updates
  • Updating and maintaining inventory records of hardware and software, and performing physical checks
  • Reporting any recurring issues and long outstanding problems to the responsible staff in the Government Property Agency

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR
  • Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience as an IT Assistant
  • Must have:
    • a minimum of 1 year's experience in Client Service
    • a minimum of 1 year's experience in Helpdesk Call Handling Technique
    • a minimum of 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support
    • a minimum of 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10
    • a minimum of 1 year's experience in working with/in the HKSAR Government in relation to IT services/projects
  • Provide support to users at the following offices:
    • 38/F, Revenue Tower, Wanchai
    • 8/F & 9/F, South Tower, West Kowloon Government Offices, Yaumatei
    • 21/F, Pioneer Centre, Mongkok
    • M/F, Passenger Clearance Building, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, Lantau Island
  • The job requires the following mandatory skills:
    • 1 year x  PC LAN Support, Windows 7/8/10, Client Service, Work experience with/in the  Government and Helpdesk Call Handling Technique
