Duties

To provide frontline and helpdesk services to users in CMAB
To participate in configuration and installation of operating systems, office automation applications, network equipment and networking software
To diagnose and resolve technical problems of the IT systems of CMAB
To interact and follow up with vendors for maintenance and fault reported
To perform housekeeping and maintain the inventory of IT systems and equipment
To provide perform webmaster services to the websites under s purview
To provide support services to perform web accessibility checking of the websites of CMAB
To produce and maintain documentation of IT systems
To assist in performing security risk assessment and security audit
To assist in procurement of hardware, software and related services
To assist in quality assurance of project deliverables
To oversee the compliance of IT systems with government regulations, policies, guidelines and industry standards
To provide services, upon request, at remote offices or other locations on any days including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays outside normal business hours occasionally
To carry out other duties which may be assigned for achieving project objectives

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
Solid knowledge and experience in user support
Proficient in mobile/wireless technologies
Experience in network products including switches, routers, security appliances and network management tools
Complete understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and other system protocols, as well as messaging security
Experience in the Microsoft Active Directory Administration and File Server System is preferred
Experience in server virtualization and video conferencing solution
Solid experience in Microsoft Exchange and Outlook technologies, as well as operating systems and application architectures
Experience in the implementation of remote access solution in particular the SSL VPN is preferred
Experience in GOA applications, such as Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP), Notes/Domino email solution, Government Confidential Mail System, Open Source Departmental Portal and e-Leave is an advantage
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 1 year x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Network & System Management, PC LAN Support, Security Risk Assessment and Audit, Virtual Private Network, Work experience with/in the Government, Helpdesk Call Handling Technique, Experience in Managing Government IT Standards, IT Procurement and Vendor Management
