Duties
- Participate in analysis and design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of CMMP
- Analyse user requirements, research, design and implement web and mobile applications
- Design and provide technical guidance, standards and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Implement best practices and coding standards, and conduct code reviews
- Assure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors
- Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
- Conduct system testing and rollout support
- Monitor and report system usage and healthiness
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
- Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support
- Perform any work assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in system analysis and design
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in application development and management of IT systems
- Solid working experience in mobile application development on Android platform using latest technologies is required
- Sound knowledge of UI/UX patterns, responsive design principles, and mobile platform guidelines is required
- Solid working experience in web services development, e.g. RESTful API design, Ajax, etc. is required
- Experience in web-based applications using the latest technologies and frameworks, e.g. Vue.js, React.js, Spring, Django, Node.js, is preferred
- Experience in web and mobile testing frameworks and tools is preferred
- Experience in relational or non-relational databases is preferred
- Experience in Linux-based operating systems and server virtualization is preferred
- Experience in micro-services architecture and containerisation technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferred
- Experience in email solutions and messaging solutions is preferred
- Experience in application development on private cloud platforms is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in working with/in the Government is preferred
- Good command in spoken and written English is required
- Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred
- Criminal record checking is required.
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
