Duties

Understand the business operation from various stakeholders, including Sub-Business Units (SBU) of the department, Building Project Contractors, Operation/Maintenance Teams and System Owners.
Assist in the feasibility study, user requirement elicitation, system analysis and design of the Building Information Modelling- Asset Management (BIM-AM) platform.
Take part in the software development life cycle with internal development teams and external contractors to facilitate system testing, system integration and system upgrade.
Development of both technical and non-technical documents for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance, such as system design documents, system workflow, data standards and guidelines, API specifications, tender documents (with scope of work and estimated timeline) and training materials.
Provide training to users based on operational needs.
Provide advice and assistance to the contractor management process.
Monitor system performance and provide technical support to end-users.
To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors.

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline, awarded by a university in Hong Kong; or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, equivalent or above;
At least four years' post-qualification information technology experience, of which two years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity;
Solid experience in designing and developing robust, large-scale backend systems with a focus on scalability, high availability and performance.
Solid experience navigating complex system architectures.
Proficient in project management, user requirement elicitation and analysis;
Solid experience in contractor management;
Able to work in a diversified and dynamic team environment;
Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high-quality work;
Possess experience in web application design, Software development and application maintenance processes including incident, change, capacity, software quality, deployment and software asset management and;
Good analytical mind and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from large amounts of data.
Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 years x IT Application Development and Management, Project Management and Issue Tracking System, Coordination, IT Service/ Outsourcing Management
- 3 years x Project Management Professional (PMP), People Management, Project Management, Vendor Management
- 2 years x Rapid Application Development Methodology, Web Services
