Duties

  • Infrastructure Management: Provide comprehensive support for network, server, and infrastructure systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Email Systems Administration: Manage and support departmental email services, including on-premise mail servers.
  • System Upgrades & Integration: Collaborate with internal teams, outsourced contractors, and DPO counterparts to upgrade on-premise Lotus Domino mail servers and the centralized email archive system.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead and participate in various IT projects across all stages, including requirement gathering, system analysis and design (SA&D), procurement, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), system rollout, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Vendor & Quality Management: Monitor project progress and perform quality assurance on the work of outsourced contractors.
  • Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor and fine-tune the performance of applications, networks, and servers to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • User Support: Provide technical and operational support to users for IT facilities, including PCs and mobile phones.
  • Procurement & Evaluation: Prepare technical specifications and evaluate IT products (hardware, software, devices) during the procurement process.
  • System Security & Maintenance: Develop and maintain housekeeping jobs for security control, system monitoring, health checks, and system/data backup.
  • Helpdesk Services: Work with ICT teammates to provide reliable helpdesk support services to users.
  • Availability: Be prepared to work under pressure, provide on-call technical support, and work overtime when required.

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related IT subjects
  • At least four (4) years of post-qualification information technology experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in a related area.
  • Proven experience in system design, implementation, integration, upgrade, and/or migration.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise network and infrastructure systems, such as:
    • Email systems
    • File servers
    • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
    • Active Directory and authentication systems
    • System monitoring tools
  • Experience with enterprise IT management and monitoring tools (e.g., server/network monitoring, helpdesk/service desk platforms, identity and access management).
  • Experience with mobile device operating systems (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS).
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, including secure system and network design.
  • Familiarity with IT security controls, backup procedures, housekeeping jobs, and operational controls for enterprise systems.
  • Experience in administration and monitoring of outsourced projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with users and contractors.
  • Good written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Preferred Qualifications (not a must item):
  • Working experience in Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) / Government Communication Network (GCN) / Government Cloud environments (e.g., GCIS)
