The proposed staff shall take a leading role of managing and facilitating the implementation and maintenance tasks. These include, but not limited to, the followings:

• Provide technical support services for general IT infrastructure systems and GOA systems
  
• Lead the implementation of IT security related initiatives and projects of technology refreshment
  
• Ensure compliance of relevant IT security regulations, policies and guidelines of information systems
  
• Undertake day-to-day management of external service providers
  
• Handle procurement of hardware, software and services
  
• Assist in planning the relocation of new Headquarters projects
  
• Provide technical advice to management and users as appropriate
  
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Systems Manager

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• The proposed staff must have solid working experience and knowledge in:
  
  • Windows Server and virtualized server environment
    
  • Technical support and technology refreshment of general IT infrastructure facilities such as system monitoring, server load balancer, privileged access management and endpoint detection and response
    
  • Government IT security policies including the Baseline IT Security Policy and IT Security Guidelines
    
  • Procurement of hardware, software and services for the Government
    
• Possess good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese and English
  
• Work outside normal office hours to provide on-call production support and maintenance services when required
  
• Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services when required
  
• Undergoing integrity check by Hong Kong Police Force is required
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
• 3 years x Infrastructure, IT Security, Network & System Management, Server Virtualisation Technology, Work experience with/in the Government, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services, IT Procurement and Vendor Management
