Duties

To support senior management's participation in Mainland and local events / meetings related to ICT including the preparation of speeches, event briefs and government press releases
To coordinate with Mainland ministries in the planning and execution of ICT competition which targeting for facilitating collaboration between Hong Kong technical enterprises and the Chinese Mainland
To plan and execute exhibitions of winning entries of local ICT competitions in the Chinese Mainland with a view to helping our technical enterprises tap into the enormous domestic market
To conduct research and assessment on ICT and Mainland-related matters
To liaise with internal and external parties on Mainland ICT events and visits
To research the development of digital technologies and latest trends
To review / provide inputs / comments on documentations from relevant authorities, organisations and bodies on ICT related matters
To assist in conducting various online and offline marketing campaigns, production of promotion materials and videos, and contractor management for delivery of marketing, promotion and event management services
To liaise, collaborate and work closely with relevant stakeholders including government bureaux and departments, public and private organisations, in organising promotional activities, updating contents of the related website, social media channels and other digital platforms
To manage the annual User Experience Survey to collect user satisfaction on the free public Wi-Fi service provided by Wi-Fi.HK and perform data analysis to identify improvement areas
To undertake any other duties assigned

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Fluency in English and Putonghua, possess good English and Chinese writing and communication skills
Good understanding of the ICT development in the Chinese Mainland. (e.g. recent trends, focus areas of development, National 15th Five-Year Plan, Greater Bay Area, etc.)
Good understanding of ICT cooperation between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong (e.g. CEPA, Memorandum of Understanding on Facilitating Cross-boundary Data Flow within the Greater Bay Area, Co-operation Agreement between Guangdong and the HKSAR on Co-developing a Smart City Cluster, etc.)
Has experience in event management
Has experience in organising publicity activities such as marketing events, video production or exhibitions
Has experience in conducting online/offline promotion through websites, social media channels such as Xiaohungshu, WeChat, Facebook and Instagram, e-newsletter, etc.
Has experience in conducting digital advertising services, such as Google banner ads, social media post boost, Xiaohungshu ads, WeChat Moments ads and location-based SMS services, etc.
Working on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays is occasionally required upon request
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x Event Management and Marketing Experience in IT Promotion
- 2 years x IT Advisory & Promotion, eg.Exhibition,Publication, Coordination, Intensive Exposure of Putonghua in Work and Intensive Exposure in Written English
- 1 year x Website Administration
- 6 months x Internet/ Intranet
