Duties
- Conduct user requirements gathering, system analysis, design applications. Lead and perform coding, testing and deployment of application programs, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and emerging AI solutions
- Lead and perform test plan, test cases/scripts, testing/ pre-production environment, perform Unit Test, System Integration Test, UAT
- Lead and perform system health check, Root Cause Analysis, Problem and Issues Reporting
- Lead system implementation of proof-of-concepts, perform technical studies, and execute related projects
- Lead and conduct pilot testing and technical evaluations of emerging technologies across multiple platforms and software stacks
- Coordinate with contractors to oversee project progress and ensure deliverable quality standards
- Develop comprehensive user manuals and technical documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and vendors for requirement capture, system design, implementation, testing, and rollout
- Perform any related tasks as assigned by Senior Engineer/Engineer(s)/IT Manager(s)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and Java, with comprehensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Possess strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers, with hands-on experience in deploying and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) including open-source models like Llama, Mistral, and Phi
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases with data modeling and query optimization skills (MongoDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis and MySQL)
- Experience in web application development, RESTful API design, and development and integration
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a must
- Desirable experience in cloud platforms (AWS), and geospatial analysis
- Good hands-on knowledge in Windows, Linux or other operating system(s) is a definite advantage
- Along with experience in message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, MQTT, Kafka) for event-driven architectures and Knowledge in Building Management System (BMS), Geographic Information System (GIS), LPWAN, IoT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systems
- Creative, self-initiative, responsible, well-organized, and work independently on complex tasks
- The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 5 years x IT Application Development and Management, Data Modeling, IT Security and Work experience with/in the Government
- 4 years x HTML5, JavaScript Programming, MySQL, Project Management Professional (PMP), Security Risk Assessment and Audit, Project Management and Vendor Management
- 2 years x Data Encryption Technology
- 6 months x Software Testing Management
- 5 years x IT Application Development and Management, Data Modeling, IT Security and Work experience with/in the Government
