Duties

Take major role in managing different hypervisor platforms and guest OS platforms
Review the hypervisor design for CMMP and ensure the smooth integration of other infrastructure comments including network components and backup components
Take part in integrating the security components of the system, including CyberArk privileged access management, IT security scanning tools, etc., with hypervisors and different guest operating system platforms
Take part in taking actions and drafting responses to contractor during SRAA exercises and other periodic system scanning for the system
Follow up on the assigned reported issues for the hypervisor infrastructure and the other infrastructure components
Review and maintain system documentation
Ensure and control the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors from the perspective of system architecture
Provide daily administrative support, preparation of deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project
Provide liaison and coordination services with different stakeholders
Monitor and report system usage and healthiness
Promote and maintain server patch management practices
Working outside office hours and providing on-call production support
Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic
Perform any work assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 1 year of working experience as a Systems Analyst
Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, in which includes a minimum of 1 years of working experience in system analysis and design
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working and maintenance experience in system implementation and maintenance and support of hypervisor infrastructure, in which includes a minimum of 2 years of working experience on virtual storage area network
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working and maintenance experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere
Minimum of 4 years of working experience in implementation and support of SRAA
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working and maintenance experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in implementation and support of Linux operating system (e.g. Ubuntu)
Working experience in implementation and support of at least one KVM-based hypervisor is required
Working experience with/in HKSAR Government is preferred
Good command in spoken and written English is required
Criminal record checking is required
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 4 years x Infrastructure, Security Risk Assessment and Audit, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support, Server Virtualisation Technology, Windows Server 2008/2012 and Windows Server 2003
- 3 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Moderate Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Moderate Exposure in Written English
- 2 years x Linux System Administration, Storage Area Network and IT Security Scanning Tools
